When you are stressed and want to indulge and pamper yourself, what do you do? I for one would like to get a massage. But do you know that getting a massage is not only for pampering yourself but also one way to take charge of your health and well-being? There are many different types of massage, whether you have a specific health condition or are just looking for another stress reliever. Now, let me tell you what these types of massage are and their benefits.

      1. Reflexology – If you do not like being touched all over your body, reflexology may be for you as reflexology massage focuses on pressure points in your ears, hands, and feet.
        Benefits:

        • Headache and migraine relief – since stress and other psychological factors often manifest in a physical symptom of a migraine, relieving the tension in these muscles can reduce the severity of a headache or migraine.
        • Nerve stimulation – can stimulate different nerve endings thereby increasing their function and reactivity.
        • Boost your mood – increase the metabolism and energy production process by adjusting the functions of various muscle systems.

There is also a treatment worth mentioning which is Ultrasonic Fat Cavitation which helps in body shaping. If you are specifically interested in body shaping, then this treatment can help you. This procedure involves applying pressure on fat cells through ultrasonic vibrations. The pressure is high enough to make the fat cells break down into a liquid form

      1. Trigger Point Massage – if you suffer from chronic pain, trigger point massage may be the best option for you. This type of massage can be for your whole body or focus on the areas where there is tightness of the muscles, known as trigger points.
